Summary

The little child that was chained to a lamp post had his first day of school. Lao Lu who became famous when his dad chained him to a lamp post so he would not get stolen went to school for the first time today. A generous local headmaster paid for his school after he saw a picture of the kid in the newspaper. He said the kid was fine he only needed a good scrub and some new clothes, the father of Lao Lu is so proud that his son can finally go to school.

Opinion

I think this is a beautiful story. It is good to see that there are still people in this world that care about less fortunate people. But I think it is really wrong that these kind of things are still happening in this world. This is probably not the only kid in China whose parents are too poor to pay for school. I think the government has to find a solution for this so these things do not happen any more.
