http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2010/may/12/unemployment-what-the-experts-say
Summary

The unemployment in Britain has never been this high. Over 2.5 million people do not have a job at this time. This rate is the highest in 15 years in England. The huge unemployment makes a lot of people claim their benefits this year. This rate is the highest in two years, with 27,100 only in the first three months of this year. The experts say that the numbers are very strange because there is a lot of different data. A lot of people are losing their jobs but the rate that people make is increased from 2.5 to 4%.

My opinion

I think it is really strange that a lot of people in England do not have jobs any more but the people that do have a job starting to make more money. This is going to cost the government a lot of money because now they have to pay benefits to the people that lost their jobs. What they should do is lower the rate of what people make and higher more people.
